The rules, in plain English. Short version first, details below.
Effective 2026-07-15 · applies to flait on corteslabs.xyz and its API
Flait is operated by Cortes Labs LLC ("Flait", "we"). You can reach us at flait@corteslabs.xyz — a human reads it. By using the Flait website, API, or MCP tools you agree to these terms.
Flait does two separate things:
Deal verdicts ("good deal", "typical", "unknown") are statistical opinions derived from our own price history. Displayed prices come from cached airline data and can change or disappear before you book. We never guarantee a shown fare is still available. When Flait books for you, the charge is based on the live bookable price at booking time — which is why your spend cap exists and is never exceeded.
| Booking failed or stopped | Nothing to refund — you were never charged. Any card hold is released automatically. |
| You cancel a booked ticket | The airline's fare rules govern. When booking automatically, Flait prefers refundable fares where available. Email flait@corteslabs.xyz with your booking reference and we'll process whatever the fare rules allow; airline refunds go back to your original card. If the airline voids the ticket within 24 hours of booking, we refund everything, including our fee. |
| We booked outside your mandate | If Flait ever books over your cap, after you pressed stop, or a different flight or passenger than your watch specified: full refund of fare + fee, no questions. |
| Booking fee | Non-refundable once a booking is confirmed, except in the two cases above (24-hour airline void, or our error). |
The flight itself is operated by the airline under its conditions of carriage — schedule changes, delays, and cancellations by the airline are handled under the airline's rules, and we'll help you exercise them.
Flait is currently in beta: booking runs in test mode, no real tickets are issued and no real money moves. When live booking turns on, it will be clearly stated, and these terms govern from the first real booking.
We store your email address, your watches, and — if you book — passenger details and booking records. Payment credentials live with Stripe, not with us. We don't sell your data or use it for anything except running Flait. Every email we send has a working unsubscribe or stop link.
Don't abuse the API, resell verdicts as your own, or arm watches with cards or passenger details you're not authorized to use. In return: we never claim a verdict without history to back it, "unknown" is an answer we're willing to give, and we never spend past your cap.
Flait is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for anything arising from the service is capped at the booking fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — except where section 6 says otherwise (our-error bookings are always refunded in full). We are not liable for airline performance, fare changes, or decisions you or your agent make based on free informational verdicts.
We may update these terms; the effective date above always reflects the current version. Material changes that affect armed watches will be announced by email before they apply.
